Serie iDus da Andor Technology

Le CCD Andor Serie iDus sono caratterizzate da un rumore molto basso ed offrono dunque elevate prestazioni in termini di sensibilità e range dinamico che ne consentono l’impiego in una vasta gamma di applicazioni di Spettroscopia, convenzionali o dai requisiti più stringenti.

Le CCD Serie iDus sono disponibili con sensori di vario formato e differente pixel size, tutti ottimizzati per uno specifico range di lunghezza d’onda che va dall’UV al NIR.

Le CCD low-noise Serie iDus sono compatte, ricche di funzionalità e dotate di comoda interfaccia USB 2.0, e sono di largo impiego in applicazioni di Spettroscopia caratterizzate da bassi livelli di segnale così come in misure di routine in laboratorio e nell’integrazione di sistemi industriali.

La iDus 401 ha un sensore da 1024x127 pixel mentre la iDus 420 da 1024x255 pixel, entrambe con pixel size di 26 µm.

La iDus 416 rappresenta al momento la CCD con sensore Deep Depletion con il più basso valore di dark current oggi sul mercato. Questa caratteristica, insieme all’elevata Efficienza Quantica nel range rosso/NIR, permette di ridurre il tempo di acquisizione e di eliminare la necessità di impiego di un sistema di raffreddamento ad Azoto liquido (LN2) rendendo la iDus 416 il detector ideale per applicazioni quali Raman e Fotoluminescenza.

Il formato da 2000x256 pixel con 15 µm di pixel size permette inoltre acquisizioni a larga banda con elevata risoluzione spettrale mentre la tecnologia fringe suppression elimina in pratica l’effetto etaloning alle lunghezze d’onda più elevate.

 

Le CCD iDus si basano su elettronica a basso rumore in grado di offrire il miglior rapporto segnale-rumore in un ampio range di regimi di funzionamento.

Inoltre l’efficiente sistema di raffreddamento termoelettrico, in grado di far lavorare la camera fino a -100°C, insieme alla tecnologia Andor UltraVac™, che garantisce il mantenimento delle condizioni di vuoto del sensore, sono sinonimo delle alte prestazioni e dell’incomparabile affidabilità che contraddistingue Andor nella comunità scientifica ed industriale.

La tecnologia anti-fringing minimizza l’effetto etaloning nel range NIR ed è disponibile come standard sui sensori back-illuminated.

Le alte prestazioni, l’estrema versatilità e l’interfaccia USB 2.0, rendono le camere CCD Serie iDus i detector ideali da accoppiare agli spettrografi Czerny-Turner Andor Serie Shamrock, disponibili con lunghezza focale da 163mm a 750mm, per la realizzazione di sistemi di Spettroscopia integrati, pre-allineati, pre-calibrati e controllabili da un laptop.

Le CCD Serie iDus sono inoltre perfettamente compatibili con spettrografi di terze parti.
